The reason why spider man 1,2,3 may be successful in attracting audiences may be because it is open to most aged group from the age of 12 to older adults this will allow anyone to see the film encouraging families to go see the film attracting audiences. Also the second one may attract as there was a number one so people may want to go and see the next film to know what happens so the fact they are a franchise. The main people who go to the cinema are teenagers with group of friends and families if it’s an action packed film then it will attract a lot of teenagers and people in school as they go to the cinema and like action. Also if it’s been Distributed by a top company like Sony then people will know it will be good as it will invest a lot of money into the film so it will be a big blockbuster not a film done on the cheap. Also iron man 1 may be a stop film as it is a new type of blockbuster never seen before.

I think the target audience for the upcoming releases for iron man 3 will be those that had seen number one and two, this is because if they have seen one and two they will be just want to go and see the next film. Also it will be targeted to teenagers and kids who like action superhero films, if they hear of any action and superhero films then they will go down to the cinema and see the film, also as its mouth to mouth where its passed on once someone has seen it then they will tell others to see and write reviews.

· Sony did a big global event last week to finally get the word out there what people can expect from the movie as well as ramping up their viral campaigns
· The Amazing Spider-Man is opening the day before on a Tuesday, hoping to get a bump from the holiday
· The Avengers has a great advantage over the other two being the first movie of the summer which means it can explode out of the gate and get everyone excited about the summer
· biggest selling point for "Avengers" is the return of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark
· The Avengers also marks the return of the Incredible Hulk since Universal's The Incredible Hulk in 2008, with the character portrayed this time by Mark Ruffalo.
· The Dark Knight Rises is on its way this summer--apparently, it's already sold out screenings six months in advance--and we think it's going to have a crazy big opening day and opening weekend
· They believe it will be successful because all three of the summer's superhero movies should open in over 4,000 theatres and have the benefit of being in enhanced formats like IMAX. Even without a 3D ticket bump
